Temporary Partial Disability

Temporary partial disability benefits are generally available while the employee is recovering from the work related injury and cannot work full-time. Under most state statutes, the employee is likely to receive some portion of the wages he would have received if he had been able to work during this period of time. This compensation should continue until a treating doctor determines that the injury has improved to the point that the employee can return to full-time work.
